Description

To construct an 8’ wildlife barrier fence with 12’ treated wood posts and two 4’ sections of field fence. The work includes installing approximately 821 feet of fence. The fence will be constructed with 8’ wildlife barrier fence with 12’ treated wood posts and two 4’ sections of field fence. 12’ treated wood posts will be 8” in diameter. Wood posts will be emplaced at a minimum of 44 inches and the earth must be well tamped around each post. Posts should be spaced 10 feet apart. The bottom section of 4’ field fence should be placed no more than 1” above the ground or buried as necessary. The next section should be placed flush above the bottom section of field fence. So the two sections create a 8’ fence. The two strands should be connected to each other with hog rings every 12” and secured to every wood post with staples every 12” as well. The field fence should also be connected and secured to each post at the top, middle, and bottom of the 8’ field fence with wire or a clamp. The top of the field fence should not exceed 8’ 1” above the ground level. Wood posts will be emplaced at a minimum of 44 inches and the earth must be well tamped around each post. 8’wide wood H braces should be made every 100’ and on each corner. So a total 9 H- braces should be constructed. On the corner sections there should be a diagonal wood post also placed to add support on each end. There will be no gates in this section of fence.
