CDBG - Major Home Rehabilitation

Dane County is soliciting applications from organizations interested in operating a major home rehabilitation program in 2023 targeted to low-and-moderate income residents of single-family owner occupied housing located in the participating municipalities of the Dane County Urban County Consortium listed in Appendix A. Funding is expected to be available under the HUD-funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Dane County intends to use the results of this process to make an award to subrecipients of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds. The total amount of CDBG and HOME funding available for 2024 is unknown at this time. It is estimated that Dane County may have up to $1,000,000 in CDBG and $600,000 in HOME funds that will be disbursed among several CDBG and HOME categories including the Major Home Rehabilitation category.
