Emergency Generator Inspection and Preventative Maintenance Services

The City of Dunedin is seeking quotes from contractors qualified to provide all labor, materials and equipment required for preventative maintenance and repairs to City owned emergency generators. The emergency generators are located at various City-owned buildings. Preventative maintenance services and repairs shall be completed and meet the requirements of NFPA-110, Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems. Major systems that shall be inspected include, but are not limited to, fuel, cooling, battery, exhaust, intake and lubrication. In addition, the overall system operation shall be inspected. Bid Bond N/A The City of Dunedin reserves the right to accept such bids/proposals, as are in the best interests of the City, to waive informalities, or to reject any oral bids/proposals. Bids/proposals which are incomplete or which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions may be disqualified. The term of the agreement will be three (3) years ending on December 31, 2025. Pricing shall remain the same during the term of the agreement. The City anticipates a contract start date of January 1, 2023. The agreement may be renewed for one additional two-year period by mutual written agreement of both the City and the Contractor. The City will consider negotiating a rate change at the time of contract renewal.
