Furnace Road

Removal of 6” ballast stone 2’ x 2,410’ from Quarry Rd to bridge. Dump material within Township. Mill up 2' of existing road edge x 2,410' at a depth of 4". Place milling and 2A stone over ballast stone. Grade and compact in preparation for paving. Remove 6" of ballast stone 2' wide x 1,200' Mount Pleasant Road to stop point. Dump material within Township. Mill up 2' of existing road edge x 1,200' at a depth of 4". Place millings and 2A stone over ballast stone. Grade and compact in preparation for paving. Pave 4' x 2,410' with 25mm base course at a depth of 4" compacted from Quarry Road to bridge. Paving 4' wide x 1,200' with 25mm base course at a depth of 4" compacted Mount Pleasant Road to stop point. Apply tac coat to milled edges to create tight seam. Materials approximate 150-ton 2A stone and 390-ton 25 mm asphalt.
