Fry Road Over the Misteguay Creek - Design Services

The existing structure is approximately 153’ long by 28’ wide 3-span structure originally built in 1957. Reconstruction will include: complete removal of the existing structure, construction of a new bridge, box culvert or other, and construction of corresponding approach work to improve vertical and horizontal alignments, guardrail and any other construction items necessary for a complete project. The consultant shall submit any recommended design alternatives for Road Commission approval prior to preparing the TS&L plans. The consultant shall contact the MDEQ to coordinate the proposed project prior to completing the TS&L plans. Estimated construction cost per enclosed funding letter is $2,587,000 and is currently funded for fiscal year 2022. The Road Commission will request that MDOT allow for construction to begin in fiscal year 2021.
