| Description | The Work for the landfill gas (LFG) control system includes connecting three LFG risers to underground piping and routing it to a new treatment system. The treatment system will consist of two (2) activated carbon units for VOC treatment, one (1) specialty activated carbon unit for hydrogen sulfide treatment and a natural gas fired thermal oxidizer. The treatment system will be installed on a concrete slab with secondary containment and will be surrounded with a security fence. A new electric service will be installed to provide three (3) phase power to the site and a natural gas line will be installed to provide fuel to the thermal oxidizer. Site improvements include rerouting the pedestrian pathway, providing a maintenance access driveway and modifying the existing landscape and irrigation through demolition and new installation. Bids are required for the entire Work. |
