Description

The project includes improvements to roadway geometry, drainage improvements, subsurface infiltration chambers, culvert extensions, headwall replacement, pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, utility pole relocations, and landscape improvements through the project. The project proposes a 5-foot wide sidewalk along the east side of Route 4 from Isabella Lane to North Road. A short sidewalk segment is also proposed on the east side from that crossing to Sweetwater Avenue. 5-foot bicycle accommodating shoulders are proposed on both sides of the roadway from the North Road/Chelmsford Road intersection to Sweetwater Avenue.
