Gutermuth Road Phase III Improvements

The construction of the proposed Gutermuth Road includes pavement, trails, retaining walls, culverts, storm sewer, a traffic signal, earthwork, removals and other appurtenances. The project is a cooperative effort between the St. Charles County Highway Department and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to facilitate traffic flow, improve safety, and provide pedestrian and bicycle access. The project includes: New pavement, three lanes wide. An oversized sidewalk / trail on both sides of the road. Enclosed drainage. A new traffic signal at the intersection of Gutermuth Road and Motherhead Road. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Cashiers Check or Certified Check, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an approved Surety Company and payable to the County, in an amount not less than Five Percent (5%) of the Sum Total of the Base Bid.All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is highe A Performance Bond and Payment and Materials Bond are required.
