Description

DPW is responsible for maintenance of the Citys infrastructure, collection, and disposal of residential solid waste, and for snow removal from city streets and facilities. The department is comprised of the following divisions: Administration, Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Traffic and Construction Inspection), Fleet Services, Solid Waste Collection (Garbage/Recycling), Operations (Streets, Sidewalks), Building Services, Division of Water, and Parks and Recreation. The City of Buffalo (City) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a combined DPW Campus. It is the preference of this request that the DPW Campus include the consolidation of the following off-site locations to one combined site: Broadway Depot (Maintenance, Streets & Sanitation) Mechanical Services Engineering Parking Department Mayor Impact Team
