Description | For the following project: SFY 2021 Road Reconstruction/Improvement Project West Hobart Avenue and Township Utility Replacement Project - W. Hobart Avenue: The Project Involves Approximately 930 Tons Of Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement Courses, 4720 SY Pavement Milling, eleven (11) Drainage Structures, 930 LF of 8-inch and 12-inch Drainage Pipe, 1325 LF of C-900 8-inch water main, 840 LF of water service connections, two (2) hydrants and Restoration Including Road Restriping, Driveway, Restoration, Landscaping and Cleanup. Official documents must be purchased from Owen, Little & Associates for Bid Submission. No downloaded documents will be accepted as we cannot guarantee accuracy. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same at the Township Finance Office. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township of Long Beach reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Long Beach in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Long Beach hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof.
