New Construction of Several Buildings at Walt Tyler Elementary School

As of July 25, 2022, an architect has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: A firm that intends to submit a Statement of Qualification and Proposal under this RFQ/P must register with the District by submitting the Registration Form attached hereto as Exhibit "B" to the email address above. In order for such firm to receive answers to questions or addendums, the District must receive the Registration Form NO LATER than 3:00 p.m. on February 25, 2022. Any Statement of Qualification and Proposal to this RFQ/P received from a firm that has not timely submitted a completed Registration Form shall be deemed nonresponsive and will not be opened or considered by the District. Pioneer Union School District is requesting Statements of Qualifications and Proposals ("RFQ/P") from qualified architectural firms to perform architecture/engineering services for the District's expedited, new construction of several buildings at Walt Tyler Elementary School located in El Dorado County, 23 miles southeast of Placerville, California pursuant to the form of agreement attached to this RFQ/P at Exhibit "A". More specifically, the District will be reconstructing the Walt Tyler Elementary School campus destroyed by the Caldor Fire in 2021, which will include administrative offices, classrooms, multipurpose room and supporting facilities ("Project"). It is the District's intent to select an architectural firm to conduct Conditions and Needs Assessments and to establish necessary program, design, and engineering for the implementation of the Project ("Services"). Interested firms must have experience with California public school projects which comply with all requirements set forth by the Office of Public-School Construction (OPSC). In addition, interested firms need to show experience working with the California Department of Education (CDE) and OPSC on emergency hardship projects, as well as having experience working in El Dorado County The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
