Description | A/V Upgrade Council Chambers and Wheeler Rooms. The City of Bridgeport, acting through its Office of Planning and Economic Development (OPED), seeks written sealed proposals for professional services to upgrade the audio/visual (A/V) and hybrid meeting capacity of the City Council Chambers and Wheeler Conference Rooms A and B at City Hall, 45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT 06604. Any further questions shall be submitted through electronically no later than 2 p.m. on November 10, 2022. Responses to the questions will be posted no later than 2 p.m. on November 15, 2022. SCOPE The City desires a state of the art integrated A/V system which will allow any meeting organizer to access the system for microphone usage, a presentation, hybrid accommodations, and audio/visual recording, at a minimum. An integrated system such as those found within a college setting is preferred. A/V accommodations for the City Council Chambers and Wheeler Rooms A and B will allow those present in the room the ability to see and hear the proceedings, as well as provide: Hybrid meeting capacity Live streaming to four (4) simultaneous locations Recording of meetings Integrated public speaking podium which is ADA compliant and easy to use for speaking and presentations (not applicable for Wheeler Rooms A & B). This microphone, or a separate one, must be portable. Two (2) Meeting hosts with ability to control cameras and microphones during meetings Ability to control audio such that excess background noise can be muted, both during meetings and for later transcription NOTE: System must be easy to use by meeting hosts who are not technically inclined. Wheeler Rooms The Wheeler Rooms are smaller meeting rooms at the rear of the Council Chambers. The space is depicted in Exhibit B. The large room has a collapsible wall which divides it into two separate meeting areas, A and B. These rooms are regularly utilized for all City Council Committee meetings, various staff business meetings, and community meetings. There is no existing A/V equipment in these rooms. Due to the size of the rooms the acoustics are adequate, whether it is one large room or two smaller ones. |
