Description | **As of April 26, 2023, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid on May 03, 2023.** **Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 03/01/23 to 03/08/23** The project includes miscellaneous demolition of protective and detailing elements from PHASE I work and the selective demolition needed to complete the work of the Phase II Project Plans. Rough and finish carpentry and other construction to restore the existing Courthouse building exterior north wall. CMU/ brick/ stone masonry. Concrete walks and curbs, asphalt repair; Concrete Foundations and , applications of waterproofing. Earthwork excavations, back-fill, compact fill and rough/final grade work of the courthouse square. New stone masonry retaining and screen walls. New stone foundations for event porch addition. General Site improvements for entire courthouse square - sidewalks, stone masonry for existing east, south, and west courtyard retaining walls. Existing window glazing, repairs, sealants, and painting. Painting of the courthouse eaves and trim. New exterior HM doors and frames at basement locations. Interior carpentry/renovations to create new toilet rooms, inclusive of plaster repair/ drywall, paint, ceramic tile, and finish carpentry, items. Masonry Stone Materials for use is on the site; jail structure stone as salvaged and crated, bidder is to verify quantity is sufficient to achieve the work called for by the plans. Additional materials as needed are to match / blend with these existing materials. Temporary controls / weather protection of the existing courthouse, and openings exposed with connector work. New site utility work for underground electical/ data services and other site items of, civil storm drains and san sewer systems. General and specific upgrades, improvements, and replacement of existing Courthouse M/E/P systems - H.V.A.C. /electric/gas/ water/ sanitary sytems. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Awarded Project shall require 100% performance/ payment bonding. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity and any informalities in the bids and in the bidding. |
