Description

The Frank J. Lausche State Office Building (458,000 sf) is a 15-story high rise located at 615 Superior Ave, Cleveland, Ohio. The building was completed and occupied in 1979. The Oliver R. Ocasek Government Office Building (243,975 sf) is a 5-story building located at 161 S. High Street, Akron, Ohio. The building was completed and occupied in 1984. These facilities are owned and managed by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Office of Properties and Facilities. The Department of Administrative Services has recently conducted an extensive engineering investigation of the physical plant and identified items that are to be included in the scope of work. This work is identified in the criteria which has been developed as a part of this project by the Criteria Architect/Engineer (“Criteria A/E”). Phase 1 project scope includes but is not limited to the following: The Lausche State Office Building –Replace fire pump and jockey pump; replace electrical panels on all floors; Preaction fire sprinkler system remediation; upgrade HVAC fans, motor and VFDs; replace coils in all air handlers; and replace drainage system in lower area.
