Description

FVRL is seeking bids for the construction of the Woodland Community Library (WD) located at 411 Lakeshore Avenue, Woodland, Washington. The project is to construct a 7,500 (+/-) square foot, slab-on-grade, wood-framed building, including requisite facility/site, utility improvements per the contract documents. The General Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials and equipment to construct the project, including concrete work, metals, wood, thermal and moisture control, doors and windows, finishes, mechanical, electrical and incidental related work. Bidder must include with its Bid a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, with surety acceptable to FVRL, for 100% of the contract price. The total building area is approximately 7,560 gross square feet on one story. It is made up of common public library areas including Adult, Teen and Children's spaces consisting of book stacks, reading areas, activity areas, a flexible community room, and smaller study rooms. There are also administrative offices, staff work areas and library functional support spaces. The project is required to be LEED Silver certification. The project has an estimated construction budget of $5.2 million, excluding permitting, soft costs, and contingency.
