Crushing and Stockpiling Gravel Surfacing

For 50,000 Ton, more or less. Each bid much be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bank Draft, in the amount of 5% of the total bid and drawn on a solvent State or National Bank made payable to the Corson County Treasurer or in lieu thereof a 10% Bid Bond issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and made payable to Corson County. Separate Payment and Performance Bonds guaranteeing faithful performance of the contract and payment of all labor, materials, rentals, etc., will be required for an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract. All bonds must be issued or co-signed by a licensed resident agent of South Dakota. Successful bidder shall furnish Workmans Compensation and Certificate of Insurance and will be required to provide an affidavit of compliance with 49 CFR Part 382 of the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991 (Drug & Alcohol Testing). The Board of County Commissioners, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any defects therein.
