| Description | Project involves the Delaware Army National Guard Sewer System upgrades. Existing individual grinder pumps servicing single buildings in the southern portion of the site will be intercepted and directed into a newly constructed wet well. The wet well was installed with pumps to support the new CSMS facility at the site. The gravity flow from the new CSMS facility as well as the pumped flow from buildings in the south will be combined and instead of pumping through 1,200 feet of forcemain, will be redirected into a new and shorter forcemain to a newly constructed gravity pipe system, installed as part of this project. The new combined gravity / forcemain system will eliminate the old forcemain and free up valuable land for future Guard use |
