Description | Part One: Materials (no labor) for approximately 5,150 linear feet of 8-inch and 14,600 linear feet of 6-inch water lines, and 15,000 linear feet of 3/4" service lines, all complete with appurtenances. Part Two: Approximately 38 meters, all complete with appurtenances. The Haralson County Water Authority is seeking bids from qualified vendors for supplies and materials for the following: Part One: Approximately 5,150 linear feet of 8-inch and 14,600 linear feet of 6- inch water lines, and 15,000 linear feet of 3/4" service lines, all complete with appurtenances. Part Two: Approximately 38 meters, all complete with appurtenances. Proposals for the complete work in one general contract or more general contracts shall be made on the proposal form provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on. The bidder shall provide the lead time for material delivery. The price shall be the full, delivered cost to the Haralson County Water Authority with no additions. The Haralson County Water Authority will award Part One and Part Two as one or more contracts (separately or a combination of parts thereof) based on total cost for each part to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bidders must clearly indicate which of the two parts are bid and which are not. This is a Section 3 Covered Project under the HUD Act of 1968 and Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
