Fire Station 01 Concrete Pavement Repair

To provide all material, equipment and labor to remove the area indicated on the attached aerial view, of concrete pavement and base material to a depth of 22" below finish grade. Preparation of Sub-base shall include compaction with hand-held vibratory plates to a 98% modified Proctor maximum dry density. Pavement Subgrade shall be compacted to a 98% modified Proctor maximum dry density with hand-held vibratory plates. Pavement Subgrade shall be compacted to a 98% modified Proctor maximum dry density with hand-held vibratory plates. Joint caulking for new construction joints (CJ) shall be low modulus silicone sealant, Type B, self- leveling. - Fill joints to within 1/4" of surface. Joint filler for saw cut traverse pavement joints (TJ) shall be low modulus silicone sealant, Type B, self- leveling. - Saw cut traverse joints where indicated to a depth of 3". - Flush the joint with pressurized water to clean. - Blow out joints to dry. - Install backer rod to 1" below surface and fill joints to within 1/4" of surface. Joint filler for existing pavement joints (EJ) indicated to be re-sealed shall be low modulus silicone sealant, Type B, self- leveling. Repairs of asphalt to concrete shall be with 3" thick plant hot mix to an even saw cut 1.
