Traffic Signal Modular Cabinet Assemblies- Stage 1

1.1 Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is to be provided National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) TS 2 Type 1 traffic signal control modular cabinet assemblies for operation of signalized intersections throughout the state. 1.2 UDOT’s standard cabinets will include traditionally incorporated items, such as a power supply, load switches, SDLC cables, BIUs, etc. in a typical and practical number as required for the majority of signalized intersections. However, these auxiliary devices, as well as other optional items identified throughout this Detailed Scope of Work and Requirements, will also be listed as individual bid items for purchase, which will allow UDOT to expand cabinet capability for the needs of large or unusual intersection designs.
