Description

Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Miamisburg, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel. Carnation Road Bridge Reconstruction Project. Pursuant to Section 153.54, Et Seq. Of the Ohio Revised Code, the Bidder Shall Submit a Bid Guaranty in the Form of Either: a) a Bond for the Full Amount of the Bid, Conditioned That, if the Bid Is Accepted, the Bidder After the Awarding or the Recommendation for Awarding the Contract Will Enter Into a Proper Contract Based Upon the Bid; (Faxed Copies Are Unacceptable); or, B) a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Electronic Bid Bond or Letter of Credit Pursuant to Chapter 1305, Ohio Revised Code, in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid. If a Ten Percent (10%) Guaranty Is Submitted, Provided That if the Bid Is Accepted, the Bidder Will, After the Awarding or Recommendation for Awarding the Contract, Enter Into a Proper Contract, and Indemnify the County Against All Damage Suffered by Failure to Perform the Contract by Supplying a Performance Bond in Accordance With Section 153.54(2), Et Seq. Of the Ohio Revised Code for the Full Amount of the Contract. (Faxed Copies Are Unacceptable). Only Those Contractors Which Are Currently Pre-qualified in the Proper Work Type(S) by the Ohio Department of Transportation Will Be Eligible to Submit Bids for The Construction of This Project. A Bidder Must Possess Work Types Equal to at Least 50% of the Total Amount of the Submitted Bid Price. Refer to Special Provisions Section of Bid Submittal Documents for Project Specific Information. Domestic Steel Use Requirements as Specified in Section 153.011 of the Revised Code Apply to This Project. Copies of Section 153.011 of the Revised Code Can Be Obtained From Any of the Offices of the Department of Administrative Services. Ohio Products: the Contractor and All Subcontractors Are Encouraged to Use Ohio Products, Materials, Services, and Labor in Connection With This Project.
