North Apron Rehabilitation and Taxiway Improvements

Work elements include demolition and reconstruction of existing apron pavements, associated earthwork, and drainage improvements. An additive bid schedule includes rehabilitation of the adjacent taxiway including overlay of the existing pavement and pavement marking within the project work limits. Engineer's Cost Opinion is between $1,500,000 and $1,900,000.This contract is for a public works project subject to the State of Washington Department of Labor, or the Davis-Baeon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141, et seq). The Bidder must agree that the requirements and conditions of employment be observed and minimum wage rates as established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor be paid under the Contract. No bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered bv city of the dalles/klickitat county unless the Bidder is registered with the Washington State Department of Licenses, as required by RCW 18.27. Each bidder shall furnish the owner satisfactory evidence of competency to perform the proposed work. Such evidence shall be submitted on the Statement of Bidder's Qualifications form. A bidder may submit evidence that he/she is prequalified with the Washington State Highway Department and is on the current bidder's list. Such evidence of State prequalification may be submitted as evidence offinancial responsibility in lieu of the certified statement specified above. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Contract, as prescribed in the Contract Documents.
