**As of October 25,, 2022, project was awarded to Vander Pol Excavating, awarded amount is $783,189.97.** From the intersection of 1st Avenue NW and 9th Street Circle NE north approximately 500' and then east 350' until reaching US Highway 75, Sioux Center, IA. Work to Be Done: Work generally consists of approximately 1,375 linear feet of new street construction to include, but not limited to: - Grading, Excavation, Subgrade Preparation, and Modified Subbase - Sanitary Sewer Main and Service Stubs - Storm Sewer, Trenched - Removal of Storm Sewer - Subdrain, HDPE, 6" - Water Main and Service Stubs - Water Main Fittings and Appurtenances - Fire Hydrant Assembly - Sanitary Sewer Structures - Storm Sewer Structures - 7" P.C. Concrete Pavement - Pavement Removal - Temporary Traffic Control - Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Preparation and Management - Erosion Control Items - Installation of Traffic Signs - Alternate #1: Subgrade Stabilization (Cement Stabilization) Est. Completion Date: June 2, 2023 Public notice is hereby given that the City of Sioux Center, in Sioux County, Iowa, will meet on August 22, 2022, at 4:00 pm, at which time and place a public hearing will be held in the City of Sioux Center Offices located at 335 1st Avenue NW, Sioux Center, Iowa 51250 on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the 2022 City of Sioux Center Commercial Development Project for said City.
