Jail HVAC Replacement Project

Cowlitz County accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and thereby submit inadequate or incomplete responses. Cowlitz County will not provide paper copies of the Project bid documents for this project for bidding purposes. A copy of the plans and specifications may be reviewed at the office of the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Cowlitz County. All documents received in response to this invitation to bid will become a matter of public record and subject to the Washington public disclosure act under chapter 42.56 RCW. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any immaterial irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding. Work is to begin after issuance of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within 365 calendar days
