Friley Residence Hall-Roof Replacement-Dock Roof

The project consists of, but is not limited to, metal coping, roof hatch, roof membrane, and roof insulation replacement at the Friley Hall dock roof. Bids will be received for a single General Construction Contract. Iowa Construction Sales Tax Exemption Certificates will be provided on this project. Each bid shall be submitted using the electronic bidding documents provided at www.bidexpress.com and shall include bid security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Board of Regents, State of Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date of opening. Final Completion: September 26, 2023.
