Description | Somerset County anticipates providing Opioid Settlement funding to a licensed non-profit agency or government entity to purchase community-based recovery housing rental support services for Somerset County residents for two years of the distributor payment November 1, 2023- October 31st, 2025. Somerset County understands that there is a tremendous need for services and for funding in our community; however, this RFP is soliciting responses for the following service priority/specific type of service (see Section 3 for specific service description): CONNECTION TO COMMUNITY-BASED RECOVERY HOUSING Agency Eligibility A licensed non-profit agency, or county government entity is eligible to apply for the above-stated category of Opioid Settlement funding. The total award amount for the Connection to Community Based Recovery Housing is $15,000.00, for a two (2) year period, contingent upon availability of annual allocations to Somerset County. Administrative Conditions and Requirements The following items express the conditions and requirements of this RFP. Together with the other RFP sections, they apply to the RFP process, the subsequent contract, and project production. Any proposed change, modification, or exception to these conditions and requirements may be the basis for the owner to determine the proposal as non-responsive to the RFP and will be a factor in the determination of an award of a contract. The contents of the proposal of the successful respondent, as accepted by the owner, will become part of any contract awarded as a result of this RFP. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to reject any proposals if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of such respondent fails to satisfy the owner that such respondent is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the RFP and to complete the work contemplated therein. The owner reserves the right to waive any minor informality in the RFP. |
