Description

General - This contract is for the complete turnkey replacement of the stadium sound system at Coral Shores High School. It is the school's desire to develop a system with the capability to provide sound for public events held on the school athletic fields, including but not limited to sports commentary and music for athletic and other events, using speakers and wireless microphones on the field. MCSD will not consider voice-only systems. The scope of work will include all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials required to provide a complete working stadium sound system with the specifications described herein. Contractor should include the cost of any rental equipment required for installation in their pricing proposal. The District reserves the right to award an additional contingency of up to ten percent (10%) of the proposed price to cover unforeseen needs not identified in this request for proposal. The Monroe County School District reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities when it is in the best interest of the Board to do so. Under this Contract, all new electronics are to be provided including: 1. Cabinets or racks to house the equipment 2. Amplifiers and mixers 3. Digital Audio Server 4. Interfaces to allow the playing of media 5. Microphones for press box and two wireless microphones for use on the field 6. Replacement speakers for both home and visitor side 7. All equipment shall have power conditioners and surge suppression. 8. New wiring to the new speakers and field interface panels. B.
