| Description | Fabrication and installation of roller window shades. The intent of this project is to fabricate and install roller shades for the stairway at Lakeview Recreation Center. The window to be shaded is approximately 13’ wide by 16’ high. We are asking for two quotes: A manual chain operated system and an electric motor system. For electric motor system, assume that the Owner will provide an electrical outlet within 6’ of the motor. For electric motor systems, the contractor shall provide a wall mounted switch to Owner. Owner shall wire and install switch. Fabric shall be 1% openness. Owner shall choose a standard color based on submitted samples, but will likely be a white/silver color. Basis of design is Hunter Douglas RB 500 Roller Shades with Glacier Screen fabric. However, equal systems are encouraged to bid. Crank operated systems are not acceptable. |
