Description Contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials and equipment for the removal of existing and replacement with new Fire Hydrant. 1.1 Secure water to the fire hydrant located pier side. 1.2 Remove dirt and any existing concrete interferences from around the hydrant. 1.3 Unbolt the old fire hydrant. 1.4 Remove the old fire hydrant. 1.5 Install the new fire hydrant with new hardware, gaskets, etc. 1.6 Conduct a full function test of the new fire hydrant to ensure proper operation. 1.7 Construct/install a new concrete void if required by code. 1.8 Fill and compact the dirt back in around the fire hydrant. 1.9 Conduct one last test to ensure proper operation of the fire hydrant.
