Description

Installation of approximately 6,200 linear feet of new distribution waterline on multiple streets in the Towns of Hamburg, Cheektowaga, and West Seneca, and Village of Depew. The project will consist of the replacement of the existing waterline on North Creek Road in the Town of Hamburg (from Old Lake Shore Road to Eckhardt Road) on Mineral Springs Road in the Town of West Seneca (from Eldred Ave to Harlem Road), on Apollo Drive in the Town of Hamburg (from Minerva Drive to West Lane), and on Diana Lane in the Town of Hamburg (from 5724 Apollo Drive to 5828 Apollo Drive). The existing waterlines will be abandoned in place. The size and type of the new waterline will be determined as a part of the design project but will be minimum 8-inch diameters. The project also includes service transfers and necessary interconnections from 467 to 717 Mineral Springs Road in the Town of West Seneca to the existing 10-inch waterline with abandonment of the existing 6-inch waterline from the City of Buffalo line to Eldred Avenue, service transfers and necessary interconnections from 790 to 906 Mineral Springs Road in the Town of West Seneca to the existing 10-inch waterline with abandonment of the existing 6-inch waterline from Harlem Road to Doris Drive, and service transfers and necessary interconnections from 1094 to 1314 Mineral Springs Road in the Town of West Seneca to the existing 12-inch waterline with abandonment of the existing 6-inch waterline from Lexington Green to Indian Church Road. The project also includes service transfers and necessary interconnections on W Sobieski Avenue in the Town of Cheektowaga to the existing 12-inch waterline with abandonment of the existing 6-inch waterline from Dick Road to 135 Buell Avenue. The project also includes the abandonment of the existing 6-inch waterline from 97 Meadowlawn Road to the 16-inch waterline on 2090 George Urban Boulevard in the Village of Depew, performing necessary service transfers and abandonments.
