Description | This contract provides for the construction of: Electrical improvements or repairs within the public right-of-way at various locations within the city of Lakewood. Work includes but is not limited to: installation or removal and replacement of damaged street light and traffic signal poles, road and property restoration, and all other necessary work to complete the project as specified and shown in the Contract Provisions The purpose of this solicitation is to secure the services of a Contractor to perform traffic signal installations, illumination system alterations, and miscellaneous installations or repairs throughout the city of Lakewood on a non-scheduled basis, and to request bid prices for that work. City of Lakewood is unable to determine the precise schedule or amount of work that may be performed. The work will be assigned by City of Lakewood using a task authorization number, addressing scope of work. A Bidders Construction Experience form is included in the Contract Provisions. All bids shall be submitted on the prescribed Bid Forms and in the manner as stated in this advertisement and in the Bid Provisions. Faxed bids and/or surety bonds will not be accepted. The City of Lakewood reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, accept a proposal of the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, republish the call for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of the City is served. |
