Site work for a water / sewer project in Morgan Hill, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. All of Morgan Hill's wastewater is delivered to the wastewater treatment plant in Gilroy via a single trunk sewer line that extends south from the City. The construction of a new parallel sewer trunk line is intended to facilitate the City's planned growth and to mitigate capacity constrictions in the existing trunk line. The project will span the distance between Highland Avenue and Renz Lane in Gilroy. The design is scheduled for completion in 2020. Commencement of construction is anticipated in the Summer of 2022. As of June 23, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2028 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023.
