Description | Original Set Aside: Partial Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5). The Williams Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center, located at 6439 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC 29209 requires the purchase of routing and installation of fiber optic cable using existing underground conduit path, allowing the VA networking into building 9 for its SIM Center. Prior to submitting a quote: SD/VOSB Vendors shall be Verified in https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ and All Vendors shall be Registered as Active in https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ Point of Contact: POC for this acquisition is Cedric Belmont, 803-776-4000, Ext: 1836; cedric.belmont@va.gov All interested companies shall provide quotation(s) for the following: Supplies/Services: The contractor shall be responsible for the installation and routing of 12 pair, 24 strands, multimode fiber optic cabling from building 9A, room 207, to building T 28, room 109, using an existing pathway shown in Attachment A. The contractor will provide and install two networks equipment racks with the following specifications: 1x Rack: (Cable Termination) Front Horizontal Panduit Cable management Dual sided Vertical Cable Management 1x Rack: (Switch and Fiber Placement) Dual sided Vertical Cable Management 2 Post Floor Mount Height: 7 (2.1 m) 45U Width: 19" (482.6 mm) Finish/ Color: Black The contractor shall be responsible for the installation and configuration of required security access devices for entry into room 109, building T 28. Devices will include a PACS card reader capable of integrating into existing site systems and associated modifications to the locking mechanism of the door to insure correct operation. |
