Description

The purpose if this project is to enhance wetland habitat and improve public recreation opportunities through various infrastructures improvements. Work will occur in designated locations across approximately 850 acres of the WMA. Work will include removal of derelict irrigation structures, earthwork, (e.g. levees, ditches, grading/drainage) replace and install of new irrigation structures (e.g. water control structures, pipelines/valves, banks reinforcement) and repair and install of new public access infrastructure ( e.g. unimproved/gravel roads, parking areas, ADA compliant hunting blinds, a vault toilet).
