Description | This project involves . Removal of certain interior walls--open up space . New student work stations . Removal of existing Trane air conditioning unit with associated ductwork and piping, removal of ceiling in room 210B, removal of cabinets/countertops/sinks throughout and removal of asbestos containing floor tile and lighting fixtures. . New work includes flooring, . painting walls and ceiling, . lighting & ceiling fans, . electrical/data rework to perimeter walls for new workstations (10) and a conference table with (6) chairs (furniture not included within PCA scope). . New kitchenette with sink and upper cabinets as well as space for a microwave and refrigerator, . window air conditioner, . room signs and whiteboard. . All scope will require rework of plumbing, steam heat controls, and fire alarm. The substantial construction completion date for the project, as set forth in the project manual and drawings is December 28, 2023. See applicable start date and interim completion dates in the General Requirements (Division One) - Part 1 Work Sequence section. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals either in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities. Withdrawal of any proposal is prohibited for a period of 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Performance and Labor and Material Bonds are required as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.
