Blue Point Road Repaving - 2022

City of Clear Lake Shores is seeking bids for Asphalt Repaving. Resurfacing via Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) of Blue Point Rd. approximately 16 feet wide and 675 feet long, reclaimed to a depth of eight (8) inches. Approximately 10,800 sq ft of surface area. Contractor should confirm work area calculations prior to bidding as width varies slightly. Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) Processs should include at a minimum Grind up existing old asphalt and base to depth of 8" inches and remove excess material as needed. Mix four (4) pounds of Portland cement per sq. ft. on the ground and mix into 8" inch base layer Regrade, compact and wet down new base. (A soluble solution may be used if it meets the same stabilization design criteria.) Using a paver, install 2" inches of compacted type D hot mix asphalt and compact with steel wheel roller
