Description | The United States Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit - Providence, has a construction requirement to Repair Waterfront Marginal Floating Docks at STA New York. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Parts 14 and 19. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. The Product Service Code is Z1PZ. The estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The period of performance is 215 days. UPDATE: The date set for bid opening is 30 August 2022 at 2:00 p.m. EST at Warwick, RI. Bids must be valid for a minimum of 90 days. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted on this website (sam.gov). Offerors are required to acknowledge with their bids any and all amendments. Amendment 0001: An organized site will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 10:00 am. Provide company name and names of attendees to the Contracting Officer at sean.e.waldron@uscg.mil, a full 24 hours prior to the site visit. Amendment 0002: Addittional scope and an additional drawings is added. Bid opening date has been updated. Amendment 0003: Answers to Questions/RFIs. Update/correction to page 5 of the IFB. Amendment 0004: Answers to Questions/RFIs. To receive immediate notification of all changes posted electronically, vendors should click on [Register to Receive Notification]. Vendors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management database through www.SAM.gov in order to receive a federal government contract. Base Scope of Work Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal required to replace the existing marginal floating docks C, D and E with new floating docks; remove and reinstall the existing shore ties on the new floating docks; replace the shore tie electrical lines on the new floating docks; and replace multiple steel thru-rods, timer wales, and timber rubstrips throughout the remainder of the marginal floating docks as specified and shown in the contract documents OBI#1: Marginal Floating Docks: Recoat the existing marginal floating dock A, B, C, D, and E guide piles (6 EA) as specified and shown in the Contract Documents. OBI #2: Marginal Floating Docks: Install sacrificial anodes on the existing marginal floating dock A, B, C, D and E guide piles (6 EA) as specified and shown in Contact Documents. OBI#3: Boarding (Refueling) Floating Dock: Replace the plastic rubstrips and gangway roller as specified and shown in the Contract Documents. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
