Future Projects: 1. Replace Passenger Terminal Building Flooring System: Demolition, removal, and replacement of 11,172 square feet of existing flooring systems spanning the public throughways on the ground floor of the Yuma International Airport Passenger Terminal. Funding: PFC Funds $ 600,000 2. Rehabilitation of GA Aircraft Aprons: Rehabilitation of 48,700 square yards of existing aircraft parking area by repairing and/or replacing the deteriorated asphalt and concrete sections. Funding: PFC Funds (Grant Match) 100,575 AIP Grant (Anticipated) $2,048,850 ADOT Grant (Anticipated) $ 100,575 Total $2,250,000 3. Acquisition of Airfield Maintenance Equipment: Replacement of existing equipment used to sweep taxiways and aprons frequented by the commercial airlines as well as the flying public including a Runway Sweeper, Small Apron/Parking Area Sweeper and Utility Vehicle. Funding: PFC Funds $ 327,000 4. Identity Management Security System: The system will ensure operational regulatory compliance through the consolidation of all identity management information into a single system for managing background checks, biometric data, badging, access control, video surveillance, continuous vetting and auditing.
