Georgia Pacific Water Main Connection

The Georgia Pacific Water Main Connection project is located along 220th Street from the Georgia Pacific facility to the intersection with Quail Avenue. The project includes the installation of 2,278 LF of 12-inch diameter PVC water main, 140 LF of 12-inch diameter DIP water main, 221 LF of 12-inch diameter trenchless water main, and associated appurtenances to connect the Georgia Pacific facility to the City of Fort D odge water system. Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City of Fort Dodge, Iowa on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications, and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its meeting at 6:00 P.M. on March 27, 2023, in said City Council Chambers at City Hall, at which meeting the Council proposes to hear comments from the public on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of costs for the construction of the Georgia Pacific Water Main Connection. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the proposed improvements.
