Description

The Purpose of This Project is to Level With Achm Surface Course and Overlay With an Ultrathin Bonded Wearing Course Approximately 8.272 Miles of Highway 96 in Sebastian County. This Project Consists of Removal and Disposal of Guardrail, Aggregate Base Course, Achm Surface Course, Ultrathin Bonded Wearing Course, Cold Milling Asphalt Pavement, Guardrail, Rumble Strips, Bridge End Terminal, Pavement Marking, and Misc. Items. Routes: 96 Sections: 2 County: Sebastian Length: 8.272 Miles in Length. Question Deadline 10/25/2023 at 1:30 PM CT Questions pertaining to projects during the advertisement period should be addressed to the Program Management Division at pmd@ardot.gov. The deadline to submit a question is the Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date. A question submitted after the close of business on the Wednesday prior to the scheduled letting date may not receive a response. In Order to Have a Bid Considered, Contractors Must Furnish a Proposal Guaranty Consisting of Either a Bidder's Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount Bid. in Order for a Bond to Be Acceptable to the Department, the Company Issuing the Bond Must Be Named in the Department of Treasury Listing of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies. the Underwriting Limitation of the Bonding Company Shall Be Adhered to. Any Excess (Between the Face Amount of the Bond and the Underwriting Limitation) Shall Be Protected by Reinsurance Provided by an Acceptable Reinsuring Company. These Contracts Are Subject to Normal Prequalification, Licensing and Bonding Requirements, Applicable Labor Laws, Non-discrimination Provisions, Wage Rate Laws and Other Federal Laws Including the Fair Labor Standards Acts of 1938. the Work Hours Act of 1962 and Title Vi of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 Also Apply.
