Bradford Street and Prince Street Intersection Improvements

The work under this contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment required for sidewalk and roadway improvements at the intersection of Bradford Street and Prince Street to provide bicycle accommodations and improve pedestrian accommodations. The proposed work includes milling the existing roadway pavement and overlaying with hot mix asphalt, removing an isolated segment of sidewalk to widen the roadway for a new bicycle climb lane, removing and resetting granite curb, installation of new granite curb and hot mix asphalt curb, reconstruction of hot mix asphalt sidewalks, construction of cement concrete curb ramps, removing existing cement concrete stairs, construction of wood retaining wall, minor drainage modifications, restriping intersection and a section of adjacent parking lot, installation of new traffic signs and all other items needed to complete the project and as shown on the plans and specified. The contract also includes an Add-Alternate for the construction of a stone masonry wall should it be required.
