| Description | This project is being conducted under the COGCC Orphan Well Program (OWP). The project involves excavation and disposal of petroleum contaminated soil from a former tank battery at Location #444882. Oil and gas infrastructure including the tank battery has been removed. The Project Location is on the south side of 136th Ave, 0.7 miles east of QuebecStreet, in Thornton, Colorado. The contaminated area is located on the west side of the former tank battery as shown in the attached Site Investigation Report. Surface reclamation of the Location will include backfilling with clean fill and compacting the excavation to grade. Re-contouring, topsoil and seeding will be performed by others under separate contract. |
