Replacement of Butlerville Road Bridge over Croton River

Remove and replace the existing bridge structure and reconstruct associated approach roadways necessary to complete the work. Limits of work will extend approximately 200 feet on each approach to the bridge. The replacement bridge includes driven steel H-piles, cast-in-place concrete abutments and wingwalls, prestressed concrete box beams and a concrete bridge deck and approach slabs. The work zone traffic control plan includes complete closure of the bridge and road and implementation of an off-site detour using local roadways. Roadway reconstruction work includes full depth pavement reconstruction for a length of approximately 100 feet south and 115 feet north of the bridge along Butlerville Road. The project also includes drainage improvements, guide railing replacement and site restoration.
