Bloedel Donovan Park Building And Site Renovations

Seeking architectural, engineering, and other professional design, permitting, and construction administration services related to the renovation of the multipurpose building and/or other buildings located at Bloedel Donovan Park in Bellingham, Washington. The need for renovations also provides a unique opportunity for the city to assess other improvements that could be made to maximize the use of the site and provide additional services to the public. The Lake Whatcom reservoir is the primary source of drinking water for the City of Bellingham and adjacent portions of Whatcom County. Both Lake Whatcom and Whatcom Creek are listed as impaired water bodies. While the focus of this work is to provide all necessary services to renovate existing buildings on site, other services may be needed in coordination with this work such as improvements to utilities, environmental permitting, or on-site mitigation. Services may include additional studies, cultural resources survey, topographic surveys, environmental, architectural services, landscape architectural, or other work. Work may also include construction administration support.
