Description | **As of March 23, 2023, the award amount is $973,730.50. This purpose of this project is asphalt resurfacing on various City Streets. Work consists of cold planing existing bituminous surfaces to a depth of approx. 1", road leveling, adjusting utility structures, paving the milled area, pavement markings, traffic control, and other incidental tasks. Completion- 30 calendar days for substantial completion; 60 calendar days for contract final completion The proposed improvements, hereinafter called the Work, is located as follows: Court Street, Westview Ave to the Ashuelot River bridge Main Street, Silent Way to the Swanzey Town Line Maple Ave, Park Ave to Summit Road North Lincoln Street, Roxbury Street to Beaver Street Old Walpole Road, Maple Ave/ W. Surry Road to Hilltop Drive Summit Road, Park Ave to Hastings Ave/Maple Ave Keene Water Treatment Facility. 1. Excavation to include milling of asphalt surfaces or other removal of asphalt paving, uncovering utility structures, and removal ofunsuitable material. 2. Reconstruction, replacement, or grade adjustment of utility surface structures, including protection ofwork and maintaining road access through all phases ofthe project. 3. Preparation and construction of asphalt pavement base, leveling, and wear courses. 4. Placement and compaction ofshoulder or other gravel courses. 5. Retro-reflective paint pavement markings, landscape grading, signage, or other incidentals to roadway rehabilitation included in the plans and details. Road Rehabilitation shall be performed between May 22nd and June 20th, 2023 unless otherwise approved by the City Engineer. |
