Contract Term:48 Months Goals: 7.5% MBE; 7.5% WBE; 2.5% SDVOB Through this procurement process, MTA C&D seeks to identify and engage a qualified Design-Builder to perform design, fabrication, track signaling, construction and installation Work under the terms of Contract S-48012 which calls for replacing the current signaling system on the "Crosstown" line (Court Square station on the G line to Hoyt Schermerhorn station on the A, C and G line) with a Communication Based Train Control System (CBTC) that meets MTA's technical baseline including the CBTC Interoperability Interface Specification and which may be updated to allow for more efficient and cost effective deployment of the CBTC system. The Design-Builder will be responsible for all aspects of design, engineering, scheduling, coordination, construction, CBTC equipment fabrication and installation and timely completion of the project..
