Tucannon River Project Area 27/28.1 Phase 2 Irrigation System Design and Installation

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR), Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Program is requesting bids for irrigation system design and installation under this Request for Proposal (RFP). Request for Clarification Deadline: July 29, 2022 - COB Response to Clarification Deadline: August 4, 2022 - COB Tentative Award Selection (est.): August 24, 2022 Contract Award (est.): August 29, 2022 Project Initiation (Implementation Phase): September 1, 2022 Tentative Project In-Water Work Window: July 15 - September 31 Project Completion (Implementation Phase): December 30, 2022 The proposed project is located on the Tucannon River between river mile 22.2 - 23.1 (Project Area (PA) 27/28.1). The project site is located on private property, near King Grade Rd and Tucannon River Rd. Currently, this property is producing triticale, but with improved water efficiency and management, the landowner would like to explore moving to alfalfa in the future. The successful implementation of this project will improve irrigation efficiencies for the landowner and farm operator, while saving water instream for Endangered Species Act (ESA)-listed and non-ESA-listed native fish species within the Tucannon River watershed
