Description

The selected engineer will be required to design the desired electrical, mechanical, and structural upgrades which is to include but not limited to wet well rehabilitation, bar screens, generator fuel cell rehabilitation, ventilation upgrades, etc. The selected engineer will prepare plans, specifications, and bid documents along with obtainingall necessary permits for use in the award of a construction contract. The engineer will also provide construction administration during the project; inspection services will be provided by NCSD. NCSD anticipates that the project will be bid in June 2023 and that construction on this project will start the beginning of November 2023. It is the intent of the District not to award this contract to any firm who does not furnish satisfactory evidence that they have successfully completed projects of this type and magnitude, and that they have enough capital, equipment, and personnel to enable them to complete the required work successfully within a reasonable time.
