Bayport Facility Back Up Electrical Power Services

The Bay port plant has three separate 12470V feeders from Center Point to provide power. The west feed provides power to the lift stations, A-plant, the Belt Press building, and Tanks T-2004 and T-2005. The center feed provides power to the Admin and Maintenance buildings, B-Plant, 1st Step and 2nd Step Areas, and Clarifier 7 area. The east feed provides power to the Clarifier 4, 5, 6 area, cooling tower, and the outfall pumps (DTB area). All equipment utilization power is stepped down to 480V via various transformers throughout the plant. Energy delivery points located at critical MCC’s are to be provided for each of the three designated areas as separate facilities. The Proposer is responsible for the design, permitting (air,flood,etc.), supply, installation, maintenance, and operation of all emergency generation and emission control equipment, switch gear, pipes, lines and equipment required to convey the energy from the power generation system to the interface point including all equipment required to interface with the building systems.
