Continuing Services Overhead Signs and High Mast Inspection

Reference to a "structure" includes overhead sign structures and high mast light poles. An inventory of the Florida Department of Transportation IV (herein after referred to as the Department) District structures is provided in Attachment A1 and A2. These Attachments include information for the first structures inspection cycle only (2020- 2022). Updated information regarding structures inventory and proposed inspection dates for the second structures inspection cycle (2022-2025) will be provided at the end of the second year of the contract. Structures located within District IV including Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties shall be inspected in compliance with federal regulations (National Bridge Inspection Standards, CFR Title 23, Part 650, Subpart C); Section 335.074, Florida Statutes; Safety Inspection of Bridges; State of Florida Department of Transportation Rules, Chapter 14-48, F.A.C., Bridge Inspection Standards; and OSHA 29 CFR, Part 1926.
